MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH THOREAU IS THAT HE WROTE SO MUCH ABOUT LIVING INDEPENDENTLY AND SELF-SUFFICIENTLY AND HOW HE DIDN’T NEED ANYTHING BUT THE TREES

EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT HIS MOTHER USED TO VISIT HIM REGULARLY TO DO HIS LAUDRY AND BRING HIM COOKIES

I just went to Walden Pond last Friday and it was swarmed by gnats. My friend and I thought he passed the time by talking to the gnats. Gnat minions.
