This Saturday night, I’ll be playing at Dirt Floor Studio in Chester, Connecticut as part of the Dirt Floor House Concert Series. Dirt Floor is owned and operated by the multi-talented Eric Lichter who, since re-launching his concert series, has hosted acts such as Brown Bird, Joe Fletcher, and Jonah Tolchin, all of whom will be playing at this year’s Newport Folk Festival.
I’m very proud to be the next in this series. The show will be filmed by Hawkhill Media and recorded by Dirt Floor, so there may be a release of the show in some form in the future. That said, I’d love to see a good crowd there to see and hear it in person.
Hannah Fair, a very talented young singer-songwriter, will open up the night at 7pm and the show will run until 10pm. Admission is $20 and seating is limited. If you want to reserve your spot, you can respond on Facebook or send me a message at contact@ianfitzgerald.com.
